Job Description

Entrust Government Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineering Lead to manage teams of engineers and systems administrators in the development of complex Information Systems for various DoD customers. Responsibilities include the technical leadership for the design, configuration, verification, validation, and integration of hardware, software, and services into enterprise Information Technology systems. The ideal candidate will have strong team building skills in technology, with a hands-on background, and a thorough understanding of network, storage and virtual server architectures. The selected candidate will work with the government customer to develop requirements, conduct site surveys, design solutions, mock-up, install, configure, document, and test solutions in a lab environment. Upon government acceptance, will support the deployment, troubleshooting, and sustainment of the fielded solution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of work experience (6 additional years of technical experience may substitute for the degree)
  • M.S. Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Security+ Certification
  • CISSP or CCNA (CCNP) or MCP/MCSE certifications

       Hands-on experience with:

  •     MCP or MCSE with Hyper-V 
  •     Active Directory, DNS, and IP configuration
  •     Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network devices, virtual machine hosts, and            virtual machine guest deployment (installation, configuration, etc.)
  •     MS-Hyper-V, MS Win XP/7/10 SHB, MS Outlook 2010/2016, MS Office Suite 2010/2016, MS Exchange             2003/2010/2016, and MS Server 2008R2/2016
  •      Network and system security principles and techniques

        Management / Administrative qualities:

  • Strong systems engineering, organizational, team building, and interpersonal skills
  • Management experience that includes technical leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with IT installations in classified environments
  • Active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain it
  • Ability to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) up to 25% of working time

Desired Qualifications

  • ITIL(V)3
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Enterprise Process Management V2.0 experience
  • DAU Level III Systems Engineering Certified
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL Certification
  • Strong working knowledge in these technologies: Cisco Switches/Routers, RedHat Enterprise Linux, NetApp Storage Arrays, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), ACAS/Nessus or other vulnerability scanning and management tool, Host Based Security System (HBSS), DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG), Aruba or Cisco wireless networks, Cisco Unified Computing System
